It was sampled by Ice-T in “Funky Gripsta” in 1992 and in 1994 by Snoop Dogg (sorry, but Mr. Broadus did not come up with the catchy refrain of “bow-wow-wow-yippie-yo-yippie-yeah”) “Who Am I? (What’s My Name?).” And almost two decades after its first appearance, Girl Talk samples “Atomic Dog” in 2010’s “Get It Get It.” Redman has sampled it in five different songs and Ice Cube in seven different songs.
