One of the largest medical marijuana events this year, HempCon rallies a host of vendors, musicians and professionals and offers exhibits for dispensaries, collectives, caregivers, evaluation services, legal services, educational institutes, equipment, accessories and much more. Striving to educate and offer the latest info to the supportive masses, the show also offers seminars and presentations by industry leaders, advocates and attorneys. The L.A. show features two important highlights: former High Times columnist and author Ed Rosenthal will talk about his activities in promoting and developing policies of civil regulation for medicinal marijuana and his many brushes with the opposition; and, self-proclaimed “King of Pot” and CEO of Medical Marijuana Inc., Bruce Perlowin will be on hand to talk about pending patent technology and the business side of green growth. Also be on the lookout for those sexy 420 Nurses and some exceptional music. It’s going to be a day of energy and unity, all in support of the patients, activists and cultivators of medical marijuana—and another positive step forward in the fight to educate the people and expand civil rights.
