Dr. Bronner’s Join Forces in Camp Fire Relief Efforts

Bronner’s is collaborating with Organic Valley, GrassRoots Alliance and Grassroots Aid Partnership (GAP) to deliver aid and food to those affected and displaced by the Camp Fire in Northern California.  GAP is partnering with the North State Food Bank (NSFB) in Oroville, California, to assist in the distribution of aid from and Dr. Bronner’s to thousands of families displaced by the devastation.

“Dr. Bronner’s is answering the call to action, by providing soap and basic toiletries to those who have lost their homes and been displaced by the Campfire,” said David Bronner, cosmic engagement officer of Dr. Bronner’s. “We stand in solidarity with our fellow Californians, as we join our community to support and take care of one another during this crisis. We will continue to support Grassroots Aid Partnership for on-the-ground relief efforts, and work towards nurturing more responsible, regenerative organic farming models that at global scale can sequester atmospheric carbon in soil and mitigate the worst effects of climate change.”

George Siemon, CEO and a founding farmer of Organic Valley said, “Organic Valley has been on the front line in responding with in-kind products, equipment, volunteers, and financial support through many disasters over the years. We are humbled to offer support to the many victims and volunteers that are dealing with the vast devastation in California.”

Dr. Bronner’s and Organic Valley are founding partners of GAP—a group of conscious companies that work together during a time of crisis such as this natural calamity. They provide aid, food, basic necessities and resources to families affected and displaced by the disaster.

Dr. Bronner’s is a family business that has always been committed to the greater good. They believe that it is their mission to fight for and financially support causes that they believe in. some of the causes they have supported in the past are regenerative agriculture, fair trade, animal advocacy, industrial hemp and drug policy reform, and living wages among others. They are also an advocate of legalization of cannabis and have previously committed to contribute $660,000 to help end Cannabis Prohibition in five states. Dr. Bronner’s has worked alongside New Approach and the Marijuana Policy Project to support legalization efforts and regulation campaigns in Arizona, California, Maine, Massachusetts and Nevada.
