The French word crudités means a selection of cut up or whole raw vegetables
8 cups of assorted vegetables, rinsed, seeded and trimmed.
Blue Cheese Dip
Ranch Dressing
Rinse, seed and trim vegetables (i.e. cauliflower florets, radishes, carrot sticks, cucumber spears, zucchini slices, mushrooms, turnips, snow peas, bell pepper strips, scallions and cherry tomatoes) and arrange on a platter or in a basket. Serve with Blue Cheese and Ranch Dressing (see below)
Blue Cheese Dip
Makes 2 1/2 cups
1/2 cup melted Canna Butter*
3/4 cup ranch dressing
1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup sour cream
3 tablespoon milk
Ranch Dressing
This is America’s favorite dip
Yields 3/4 cup.
3 tablespoons of melted Canna Butter*
1 garlic clove
3 pinches of salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
3 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon minced parsley
1 tablespoon chives
Salt and pepper to taste
For both the dip and dressing, combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Whisk thoroughly until well blended and the dip has a smooth consistency. Refrigerate in an airtight bottle. Shake well if using after sitting for an extended period of time
