[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]T[/dropcap]he new Joker movie releases this week on Oct. 4. While we will always honor the past Joker representations made real by actors such as Cesar Romero, Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger (sorry, we don’t count Jared Leto), it’s time for a new actor to take on the mantle—now we have a different approach to the supervillain with the skills of Joaquin Phoenix. Despite its negative critical feedback in light of recent conversations of gun laws and violence, it’s likely to be another dedicated story to add to the Joker’s complex life, both in the comics and in film. We’ll ignore the “punny” statements about how a cannabis concentrate named after this villain is “no joke” and jump right in instead.

Joker Nug Run came to CULTURE reviewers as an Oakland, California-based concentrate that was on the rise. Quality cannabis cultivators became the foundation of this product’s inception was created via “innovative and extremely advanced extraction labs, which utilize custom-designed, state-of-the-art equipment.” It tested at about 79.2 percent THC at the time, which means that only well-seasoned veterans should probably partake.

Joker Nug Run didn’t have a reported strain lineage, but its likely that it stemmed from either Joker, Sour Joker or Joker’s Grin varieties. In concentrate form though, this product comes with a lightly sticky consistency. Once you open the package, consumers will find that its scent is that of a light, sweet citrus aroma. Upon consumption though, the hit was reported to be clean, mildly expansive and easy on the lungs.

Ultimately Joker Nug Run is a pleasurable product that is gentle and relaxing, and yet motivational and energizing too. It’s the kind of strain that will make doing mundane chores a little more exciting, and other physical tasks will be a breeze. You’ll be so enthralled with your occupied mind that you won’t even have time to look at the clock!

The Joker as a fictional character is one thing, but this Joker is actually quite another. It’s the kind of concentrate you want to share with friends and be sociable when the opportunity arises.
