[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]E[/dropcap]verybody loves cheese. From the fanciest of charcuterie boards at a dinner party to the messiest hunk of cheese on a burger, it’s the one ingredient that almost always makes things taste better. Even Vegans go out of their way to recreate cheese in a dairy-free manner. It’s a universal ingredient that few people dare to challenge as THE best around. And when it comes to strains, well, anything named after a cheese honors the ingredient’s funky and delicious smell, as well as its overall popularity amongst consumers. This week we’re talking about Exodus Cheese.

The strain from which this concentrate is born from is said to have originated in southern England during the last two decades of the 2000s. Nobody knows for certain how the strain came to be, or who grew it first. However, the “Cheese” of its name is known to be a classic in that region (an indica-dominant hybrid that possibly descends from a Skunk #1 strain).

Some way or another, Exodus Cheese was born. In the case of CULTURE reviewers, a wax version of this lovely strain was tested. It’s appearance was aptly thick and malleable; very pretty to look at and it’s deep amber color is a true testament to its potency. It contains high levels of limonene and caryophyllene, producing a unique flavor profile that mimics that of clove, black licorice and lime. Exodus Cheese’s flavor is both zesty and sweet, with a flavor that is even stronger when consumed, versus simply smelled.

Of course, this strain and it’s heritage is well-known throughout the world as a potent medicine. It’s effects take place almost instantly, and produce a long-lasting experience. CULTURE’s particular cut of wax tested in at 80 percent THC, meaning that it’s great for seasoned consumers but maybe not the first concentrate that a newbie should try out. However, this sativa-dominant hybrid is a great treatment for those who want to relax and wind down during the weekend. It’s also useful when seeking enough of an energizing feeling to keep consumers productive and off the couch.
