Throughout the six seasons of Weeds, the characters have only gotten wilder. Aside from the leading roles, the supporting members, too, have played their part in Nancy Botwin’s rollercoaster of a life. Here is our list of our favorite guest stars, from the famous to the b-list to the just memorable:

Season 1:

Jeffrey Dean Morgan appears here and there as Nancy’s late husband Judah Botwin.

Craig X Rubin (played by Craig X Rubin) is the owner of rival Bodhi Sativa Caregivers Club. In Weeds, he teaches Nancy the basics of medical cannabis and also appears in season 2 as the organizer of a marijuana convention. In real life, Rubin is known for his roles in documentaries like How Weed Won the West (2010), Super High Me (2007), The Union: The Business Behind Getting High (2007) and Smoke & Mirrors (2006).

Season 2:

Snoop Dogg appears this season to write a song called “MILF Weed,” which became the name of Nancy and Conrad’s strain.

Zooey Deschanel plays Andy’s crazy ex-girlfriend Kat, who “kidnaps” Shane for a road trip back east and ends up ditching him at a truck stop.

Page Kennedy appears on many TV shows from Desperate Housewives and Six Feet Under to S.W.A.T., NYPD Blue and Blue Mountain State. In Weeds he’s the lovable U-Turn, who teaches Nancy that “thug means never having to say you’re sorry.”

Season 3:

Mary-Kate Olsen plays Tara Lindman, Sila’s cannabis-smoking Christian girlfriend who ends up becoming one of Nancy’s best employees and breaking Sila’s heart.

Guillermo, the leader of a Mexican gang, is played by none other than Guillermo Diaz, best known for his role in Half Baked. Guillermo becomes a leading role in the show weaving in and out of the Botwins’ lives.

Season 4:

Albert Brooks, known for his vocal roles in The Simpsons (1990-2005 and Movie, 2007), Finding Nemo (2003) and Doctor Doolittle (1998), guest stars as Lenny Botwin, Andy and Judah’s father, who despises Nancy.

Enrique Castillo (Déjà Vu, In Good Company, Blood In Blood Out) plays the reoccurring role of Cesar de la Cruz, the quiet bodyguard to Esteban Reyes, the Mayor of Tijuana.

Latin actor Demián Bichir plays Esteban Reyes, a Mexican political figurehead and drug lord who impregnates, marries and hunts down Nancy.

Season 5:

Funnyman Larry Joe Campbell (My Name Is Earl, Wedding Crashers, According to Jim) stops in for a short role as Deputy C. P. Jones, who arrests Silas and Doug in Ren Mar and bribes his way into their pot store business.

Comedienne Jamie Denbo has been a regular performer and teacher at the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and Los Angeles—and she’s also landed roles in Yes Man (2008) and Must Love Dogs (2005). She plays Raylene, a lesbian regional sales director for You’re Pretty makeup, an Avon-like company. After Celia uses the makeup to sell her own weed, Raylene becomes romantically interested in Celia for her success.

Alanis Morissette joins the cast as Dr. Audra Kitson, who delivers Nancy and Esteban’s baby and becomes Andy’s love interest.

Season 6:

Richard Dreyfuss plays Warren Schiff, Nancy’s high school mathematics teacher that took her virginity and becomes obsessed with her over the years. In this season, he offers up his home as a safe house for the runaway Botwins and even goes as far as risking his own life and money to help them get out of dodge.

Jenji Kohan, series creator, makes an appearance as a woman at the airport in the last episode of this season.
