[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]A[/dropcap] cannabis-themed museum is set to open in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada this summer. Cannabition is “an immersive cannabis museum celebrating the cannabis lifestyle through a series of non-consumption, multi-sensory art installations telling the story of the plant from seed to harvest.” The museum will also include a 360° theater that will feature visuals and music that will appeal to the typical cannabis consumer.

The main attraction, however, will the massive 22-foot tall glass-blown bong created by Jerome Baker Designs, a glass-blowing company based in Seattle. After the piece is created in Seattle, it will be moved to Las Vegas for finishing touches before opening day. Touted as the world’s largest bong, the piece will be the centerpiece of the museum.

Even though cannabis is legal in Nevada, public consumption is banned and guests will not be allowed to consume cannabis at the museum. Guests must also be at least 21 years old to enter. Cannabis products containing THC will not be sold, but Cannabition will offer the world’s largest selection of CBD products, according to the venue’s FAQ.

Cannabition is set to open on July 1, the one-year anniversary of legal recreational cannabis sales in Las Vegas. Tickets go on sale April 20 and will be sold at the cannabis-friendly price of $4.20. A Kickstarter page to help fund the production of the bong and museum was started March 28, but was suspended less than a week later by Kickstarter itself.
