Sharon Marley Prendergast (born
1964) was adopted by Bob Marley when he married her biological mother, Rita
Marley. Along with her younger siblings, Sharon was in the group Ziggy Marley
and The Melody Makers. It was with the group that she earned three Grammy
Awards. Today, she keeps herself busy performing onstage with Ghetto Youth
United and the Melody Makers Support Group. She is also the curator of the Bob
Marley Museum and managing director of Total Care Learning Centre (TCLC) in
Jamaica. She has four children.

(Cedella Marley)

Cedella Marley
(born 1967) was Bob and Rita Marley’s first-born daughter. Named after Bob’s
mom, it’s no surprise she went on to become a Jamaican singer, dancer, actress,
designer and entrepreneur. Also a member of Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers,
Cedella also has had a great presence in fashion, as she started multiple
clothing lines. Also, in 2012 she designed the uniform for Jamaica’s track and
field team for the Olympics. Cedella currently serves as the CEO of Tuff Gong
International, her father’s record label. She is also responsible for running
1Love, which is her family’s charity. Aside from being married with three
children of her own, Cedella also launched Marley Natural in 2014—a cannabis
brand that’s working with Privateer Holdings of Washington State.

(David Nest “Ziggy” Marley)

Marley
(born 1968) is the leader of Ziggy
Marley and The Melody Makers, and he is known around the world for his talent
as well as for being Bob and Rita Marley’s oldest son.

Aside from the Melody Makers, Ziggy is also known
for having an outstanding solo career. In addition to music, he was the founder
of Unlimited Resources Giving Enlightenment (URGE), which works with children,
especially those in Jamaica and Ethiopia. He also signed on as an official
sponsor of Little Kids Rock. This nonprofit gives children across the nation
free musical instruments and lessons. He currently resides in Miami, Florida
and has a wife and six kids.

Stephen Robert Nesta Marley
(born 1972) was another talented child who followed in his father’s footsteps
by becoming a musician. He has an impressive number of Grammys for being an
artist, producer and member of Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers. His album, Revelation
Part One: The Root of Life won the Grammy Award for Best
Reggae Album in 2012. He has six sons and seven daughters.                

Robert “Robbie” Marley was
Bob’s first child by a mother other than Rita. He was born not even one month after
Stephen. He grew up with Rita and Bob, and there isn’t much information
surrounding his mother Pat “Lucille” Williams. He is also the first child who
did not follow Bob’s musical endeavors, and instead he is reported to be a
motorcycle stunt rider.

(Rohan Anthony Marley)

Rohan Anthony Marley
(born 1972) is the son of Janet Hunt and Bob Marley. He is a former linebacker
for the University of Miami, and he also played on Canada’s professional
football league. He is now an entrepreneur, as he co-founded Marley Coffee in
2009. He also helps run 1Love and Tuff Gong Clothing, and he has four sons and
three daughters.

Karen Marley
(born
1973) is Marley’s third biological daughter, and her mother’s name is
Janet Bowen, also known as “Janet From England.” She grew up in Jamaica with
the Marley family, and she attended school alongside Stephanie.

Stephanie Marley (born
1974) is a biological daughter of Rita and a man who Rita had an affair
with, named Ital. Born out of wedlock, Bob adopted Stephanie and accepted her
into the family as his daughter. She is wholeheartedly considered to be one of
Bob Marley’s children.

Julian
Marley
(born 1975) was raised in England by his
mother, Lucy Pounder, who was originally from Barbados. He gains his namesake
from his father, Bob Marley, the talented reggae artist. Julian “Ju Ju” Marley
is a successful musician, songwriter, singer and producer, all while being a
devout Rastafarian. His third studio album entitled Awake
was nominated to receive a Grammy Award as the Best
Reggae Album, and this could be because his music helps him serve as a
humanitarian, as his message is heavily influenced by spirituality.

Ky-Mani
Marley
(born 1976) is the son to Jamaican table
tennis champion Anita Belnavis and Bob Marley. He is a Jamaican reggae and
hip-hop artist who has released seven studio records. He also is known for
making guest appearances on various tracks. Additionally Ky-Mani is an actor
who had a lead role in two Jamaican films entitled, Shottas
and One Love. He went on
tour with Van Halen in 2008, playing many huge musical festivals all over the
world. Ky-Mani has one son.

(Damian Marley)

(born 1978) is the youngest son of Bob
Marley, and his mother is Cindy Breakspeare, Miss World 1976. He got his
nickname, Jr. Gong, after his father’s nickname, Tuff Gong, and he was only two
years old when his father passed away. Marley is a popular reggae artist who
has released six albums, and he even won a Grammy in 2002 for having the Best
Reggae Album. His music is deeply inspired by his Rastafarian principles of one
love and freedom for all nations. His dance hall, hip-hop style landed him on a
collaborative album with Nas called,
Distant
Relatives
. He has one son, and he lives between
his homes in Jamaica and Florida.

Makeda Jahnesta Marley (born
1981) was born just
weeks following Bob Marley’s death to mother Yvette Crichton. Makeda is
Marley’s youngest child, however she didn’t grow up with the family. She grew
up in Pennsylvania, and she is reported to still live in the area today.

Bob Marley has 37 grandchildren and
counting. Four of his grandchildren are known to have followed in the footsteps
of their grandfather by starting a musical career releasing albums under the
Tuff Gong record label. Rohan’s eldest son plays as a linebacker for Tulane
University.
