[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]W[/dropcap]ith a little help from Bob Marley’s oldest daughter, Cedella Marley, New Age Beverages is launching a line of CBD-infused drinks bearing the name of Bob Marley. The new product line, called Marley+CBD Mellow Mood, debuted at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, California that took place Jan. 13-15.

The relaxation drinks come in three flavors—natural Herbal Honey, Lemon Raspberry and Peach Raspberry. Each 15.5-ounce can contains 25mg of CBD. Beyond CBD, the drinks also include other beneficial and calming ingredients like passionflower extract, lemon balm extract, Valerian root extract and chamomile flowers extract.

“We are happy to work with New Age to bring the positive benefits of CBD to both our loyal following and those who are new to the CBD movement,” Cedella Marley said in a press release. “The Marley brand deeply connects with people around the world, and combining the positive benefits of the herb with a relaxation tea is a huge step forward.”

Cedella, Rohan and Ziggy Marley all have been involved in the partnership with New Age Beverages. “I view [cannabis] as nature,” Ziggy Marley told CULTURE in 2018. “Everything that is in nature can be used for the benefit of mankind, for the benefit of our health, for the benefit of our mental state, whatever.”

The Marley’s half brother Julian Marley also dabbled in the cannabis industry with JuJu Royal CBD products and cannabis strains. Their half brother Damian Marley is involved with a huge cultivation operation with Ocean Grown Extracts, which is being developed in a former prison, Claremont Custody Centre.

Dock Light is also working with New Age Beverages with a line of coffee, tea and yerba mate products bearing the Marley name. It’s only natural for the Marley children to get involved in the new, legal cannabis industries popping up across America and in other countries—after all, it was one of their father’s favorite things.
