Barneys to Launch Luxury Cannabis Shop Inside Beverly Hills Store
[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]L[/dropcap]uxury department store chain Barneys New York is launching a cannabis shop right inside its Beverly Hills, California flagship location. Appropriately called The High End, the shop will sell luxury cannabis-infused products including products made by Beboe.
While THC products will not be sold in-store, as Barney’s does not hold a dispensary license, those types of products can be ordered via the delivery service Emjay. Only CBD products can be purchased on-site. At the store you can find horn lighters designed by Lorenzi Milano, Giobagnara leather ashtrays, glass pipes designed by Caleb Siemmon and 24k gold rolling papers from Shine. The store will also sell products like exclusive silver CBD vape pens and flavored pastilles in sterling silver dispensers.
“Barneys has always been at the forefront of shifts in culture and lifestyle, and cannabis is no exception,” Barneys New York CEO and President Daniella Vitale said in a press release. The shop can be found on the fifth floor of Barneys’ Beverly Hills location.
Fashion executive Clement Kwan and tattoo artist Scott Campbell launched Beboe in 2017 with an emphasis on design and fashion. Robin Williams’ son Zak Williams, for instance, threw a party featuring Beboe products. “I’m so thrilled that cannabis culture has come so far that it can exist and feel perfectly at home in such a prestigious context,” said Campbell. “Barneys has never been shy about pushing creative boundaries in retail, and it makes perfect sense that they would be the first to support and elevate cannabis to new levels.”
Many other high end products will be available. You can buy products from brands like Saint Jane, Foria, Lab to Beauty, Flora and Bast, The Good Patch, Vertly, Body Vibes, Malin + Goetz, Heretic and Boysmells. There will also be products like grinder necklaces from companies like Good Art HLYWD, Martine Ali, Brent Neale, Hoorsenbuhs, Carole Shashona, Sorellina, R.O.E., M. Cohen, Miansai and Barton Perriera.
The store is scheduled to open in March. Barneys plans on adding The High End to other locations beyond Beverly Hills such as is branches in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Massachusetts and New York.
