[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]A[/dropcap]pril’s biggest holiday for the cannabis community is, of course, 420. Even though that holiday has come and past (and we eagerly await for the 2019 celebrations to begin), there are plenty of other influential flavors that come from seasonal foods this month. Here are just a few of CULTURE’s many side dish recipes that have been compiled this month, which reflect both the exciting inspirations of 420 (which can be enjoyed 365 days a year) as well as the fresh and unique ingredients that become popular now that spring has sprung.

SIDE DISHES AND DRINKS

Triple Potato Nachos: Not the healthiest recipe by far, but more than enough when you’re craving some finger food. Picture tater tots and fries covered in a gooey cheese, and you won’t be able to say no.

Onion Pakoras: Pakoras are traditional Indian recipe, featuring crunchy fried onion and a blend of spices that makes each bite a satisfying one. Perfect on the side for just yourself, or at a party!

Bacon Popcorn: Self-explanatory, but delicious nonetheless. Popcorn is always a good solution when you experience the munchies.

Vegetable Crudite with Infused Hummus: Got a craving for healthy food? Check out how to prepare a vegetable crudité that comes with a side of deliciously infused hummus.

CBD Swiss Cheese Fondue: Everything is better with cheese—infuse it with cannabis, and you’re making meal-time the BEST time of day.

Brown Canna-butter Asparagus: Perfect as a side to any protein, this butter infused with cannabis makes asparagus worth choosing for your daily vegetables veggie.

Arugula Bruschetta: These little bite-sized delights are light and sweet—perfect for an evening meal on the patio.

Jamaican Red Beans and Rice: In 2015 CULTURE was inspired by the cuisine of one of our favorite cannabis destinations—Jamaica. Enjoy the flavors of traditional red beans and rice, and don’t forget that jerk chicken spice!

Oven Roasted Potatoes: Simple but filling, these potatoes are covered with butter.

Deviled Eggs: Typically your go-to for a simply way to celebrate an Easter gathering, or any spring gathering for that matter.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes: You can’t really go wrong with potatoes in any form. Mash’em up, add garlic for an extra kick of flavor and you’ve got a bowl of awesome.

Green Bean Bundles: Green beans are pretty much a year-round kind of vegetable, meaning that you’ll always have a chance to dress these babies up with some infused butter (and the extra bacon and brown sugar makes it extra tasty, too).
