Women Grow is one of the most successful cannabis organizations, bringing forth a strong stance on supporting countless women who are currently involved in the industry, as well as those who want to become more involved. The organization’s massive following has allowed it to host a number of major events every year, and its individual chapters throughout the country proceed to connect with both women and men who want to become more involved in the industry. One of the organization’s most popular events is the Women Grow 2018 Leadership Summit, which is held annually in Denver, Colorado. But this year, the organization is taking a new step toward inclusivity by partnering with Twitch.

For those who may not know, Twitch is a massively popular online streaming service. While originally used by gamers to stream their personal gameplay, as well as televise competitive matches held across the globe, Twitch has recently vertically expanded over the past few years to include a range of categories and coverage. For Women Grow, Twitch is the host for a new channel called “Women Grow TV,” which is produced in a partnership with LOOT Interactive.

“We are excited to announce WomenGrow TV in partnership with LOOT Interactive; this channel will be dedicated to the cannabis industry, and led by women,” said Women Grow CEO Kristina Garcia. “Our channel will provide viewers an inside look to programming focused on cannabis startups, wellness, one-on-one interviews with industry leaders, Women Grow Signature Networking meetings, and more. WomenGrow TV will be the first channel fully dedicated to women and women led businesses in the cannabis industry.”

LOOT Interactive is also excited to be the next stepping stone for sharing cannabis knowledge. “WGTV is a natural fit for Twitch,” said David Sterling, LOOT Interactive’s managing director. “We’re thrilled to help bring Women Grow to Twitch’s global audience and help empower entrepreneurs with female-oriented content about the cannabis industry that’s both relevant and entertaining.”

WomenGrow TV actually soft launched quietly in December 2017, and has already successfully streamed the 2017 Leadership Summit Lightning Talks, video archives and a few personal profiles from the organization’s leaders. More is certainly to come, however nothing beats attending a cannabis event in person. Be sure to check out the Women Grow 2018 Leadership Summit, which is being hosted at The Westin Denver Downtown in Denver, Colorado on Feb. 1-2. Or if you can’t make it, don’t forget to see what’s streaming on WomenGrow TV at twitch.tv/womengrowtv.
