[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]F[/dropcap]or too long, female CEOs, entrepreneurs and activists in the cannabis industry have operated under the radar without proper recognition and appreciation. High Times Female 50, however, was designed to honor them and their achievements. Longtime leading cannabis publication and brand High Times announced the platform’s selected Female 50 honorees, all of whom were listed in a Nov. 6 press release. The honorees were selected from an enormous pool of over 7,500 nominations.
Join High Times for the award ceremony at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, 9500 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, California on Nov. 13. “The talent, accomplishments, and influence of the women who are being honored and who will be presenting at High Times Female 50 is a testament to the integral role that women have and will continue to have in the growth of the cannabis industry,” stated Kraig Fox, CEO of High Times. “These women are true changemakers and exemplify why female leaders in cannabis need to be recognized and celebrated for their work across the industry.”
At the exclusive event, High Times will present a Lifetime Achievement award to the legendary Dutch cannabis icon Mila Jansen. Several speakers will present talks including Bhang President Jamie Pearson; Paige Figi, the mother of Charlotte Figi (Charlotte’s Web); Alison Gordon, CEO of 48 North and activist Chelsea Leyland. Stick around for an exclusive performance by R&B legend Macy Gray.
This unique event will elevate the appreciation that women in the cannabis industry deserve. General admission tickets for adults 21 and over can be purchased here, and the tickets come with Champagne Cocktail Hour, a three-course meal, coffee, desert and of course, a gift bag.
