The strain of the year, Gorilla Glue #4 gets crossed with another classic to make The Sauce—Airfield Supply Co’s mix of GG#4 and Green Ribbon. The Sauce has potent, high-THC hybrid sativa effects, making it appropriate for daytime use. This cuts started out with Gorilla Glue #4 a triple back-crossed diesel and chocolate Thai. Then, growers crossed it Green Ribbon (aka Green Cush, or Green Crack)—one of the most popular sativas of all time. The result is big, dense, thick and light-green, with dabs of purple, rusty pistils, and healthy coat of resin. The Green Ribbon mutes the biggest bite from Diesel—giving The Sauce more floral sweetness. These nugs were perfectly harvested, cured and trimmed without any damage or excess leaf. The Sauce ground up to smell sweet and lightly lime, not sharp or biting with a sweet, floral, medium-bodied and potent smoke.
