Not to mention that avocados are a healthy fat with various benefits, making it one of humanity’s greatest culinary inventions. Pair this with the infusion of cannabis, and you’ve got a match made in heaven! Today isn’t just avocado appreciation day—it’s National Spicy Guacamole Day. So grab your chips, some fresh-but-ripe avocados and some spicy jalapenos for a much-needed fall kick.

Cannabis-Infused Spicy Guacamole

Ingredients:

4 ripened avocados, mashed

2 limes, juiced

1 small red onion, diced

1/3 cup cilantro, finely chopped

14 grams cannabis, ground into a fine powder

2 roma tomatoes, chopped

2 jalapenos, chopped

1 clove garlic, smashed then minced

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 215 °F. Evenly distribute finely ground cannabis onto a cookie sheet. Bake for 90 minutes.
  2. Combine the remaining ingredients into a medium sized bowl. Once the cannabis is done baking, add it to the mixture.
  3. Season to taste with additional salt, pepper, chiles or other spices.
  4. Cover the bowl and cool in a refrigerator for one hour. Serve and enjoy!
