Ricky Williams Launches Cannabis Line

[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]H[/dropcap]eisman Memorial Trophy holder Ricky Williams announced on March 20 the launch of Real Wellness by Ricky Williams (RW), a line of cannabis-based products designed for the health-conscious cannabis consumer.
The initial Real Wellness by Ricky Williams line will consist of six offerings that either include cannabidiol (CBD), tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or a mix of both. Three categories will include Solutions, Everyday and Sport. Each category includes choices consisting of a vape cartridge, salve or tonic.
In addition, the Real Wellness by Ricky Williams line will include other beneficial herbal extracts including arnica, lavender and turmeric. According to RW CEO Linnea Miron, the line will include products designed for women who are seeking alternative health products.

“It’s a dream come true for me to merge my passion for healing and my fascination with plant medicines with my entrepreneurial spirit. Cannabis has played an important part in my healing journey, and I feel a responsibility to share what I have learned in the process,” Ricky Williams stated in a press release.
The company is partnering with OutCo to aid with the cultivation and extraction processes. “Our entire line is inspired by my ongoing study of Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. I’m constantly researching ancient healing formulas and then working with OutCo’s team of scientists to transform those formulas into products that fit our modern lifestyle,” added Williams.
Recently, Williams hosted a cannabis-friendly Super Bowl Party, and rest-assured, there were plenty of “super bowls” at that party. Guests were encouraged to BYOW (bring your own weed) at the event. Meanwhile, Williams has participated in a number of cannabis-related expos, seminars and events.
At 1:50 p.m. on March 20, Real Wellness by Ricky Williams products will be available at eleven dispensaries in San Diego. The products will be available at the following locations:
A Green Alternative
Golden State Greens
Mankind Cooperative
The Tree House Balboa
Urbn Leaf – Golden Hill
A representative from Real Wellness by Ricky Williams told CULTURE that the products will also be available at select locations throughout Orange County and the Inland Empire in southern California.
The company also plans on launching its product line at dispensaries in Orange County and Los Angeles “within the next few weeks.” Later this spring, the company will be releasing its line of CBD-only products which will be available on its website.
