How would you describe your company? What is your specialty?

The Legion of Bloom is a Northern California cannabis company that specializes in connoisseur flowers and premium cannabis products. We specialize in crafted cannabis products that offer the full spectrum of cannabinoid and terpene profiles, from our flowers to our extracts. We continue to advance our knowledge of terpenes through innovative technologies and how they offer therapeutic benefits through specific cannabis profiles.

What do you offer consumers/clients that others don’t?

The Monarch Pen is revolutionary to the market because we created a vape pen that mimics smoking flower. We recreate the entourage effect by using single source strain specific, cannabis derived terpenes. Like smoking flowers on the go.

How and why did your company start up?

The five founding members have been friends for over a decade with the roots of the relationships forming in Florida. Each founder has a unique backstory on how they entered the cannabis industry and why. Individually, we had skill sets that are diverse. We recognized a need that the current cannabis market was not providing. High quality, clean, cannabis products. So we sought to innovate and create the highest quality cannabis products available. Thus, creating the Legion of Bloom.

With the changing landscape of MMJ and Recreational cannabis, what do you see as the biggest challenges to your progress as a company? Any advantages?

The biggest challenge is complying with today’s regulations while still being prepared for future legislation and focusing on being innovative in products while staying legal.

Advantages: Once new legislation and regulations are in place it will create a safer place for cannabis businesses to grow and thrive. It will also help in shifting the national attitude towards cannabis into a place of full acceptance. Whereas before we have been prohibited with the nonprofit collective model, the new legislation will allow us to operate as a for profit company.

What are the goals and vision moving forward, for your company?

Our aim is to elevate the plant through sustainable, conscious practices and production methods. We would like to remain as an industry leader by introducing high quality, therapeutic cannabis products into the market. Within the next five years we will be an established international brand name with facilities set up in the U.S. and overseas.

What words of advice would you offer anyone seeking to enter the world of cannabis business? More specifically…what is unique to this type of work / this industry, in your opinion?

You need to be extremely driven, highly motivated, and have access to inside industry information. Along with these traits you must be willing to take high risks. This industry never sleeps, which is ironic to its classic “stoner” label. Be ready to wear every “hat” in the business from lawyer, to activist/lobbyist, CEO, marketing, sales, while still spending enough time crafting cannabis cultivation.

Any sneak peeks on new products or news you’d like to share?
