Green Leaf began as a blog. Its mission was to spread the word of the healing powers of marijuana. Now, upgraded to a full-fledged e-zine with 500-plus participants, it remains committed to showing how cannabis has helped others. In one case, Green Leaf’s founder attended a fundraising event for autism and saw how medicinal marijuana helped a young autistic boy. The boy had been prescribed with over 13 medications and showed no signs of improvement. When he was introduced to marijuana, the boy began functioning at a higher level of comprehension. Inspired by this story, Green Leaf 420 was born. This month, Green Leaf puts on a two-day expo complete with live music and a best med contest.
