Billed as an “all-day, mind-opening music festival,” Cypress Hill’s medical marijuana-supporting Smoke Out takes over San Bernardino this month with an impressive lineup of acts and speaker panels. Surrounding themselves with newer college-clique bands such as MGMT and Atmosphere, and established legends Incubus and Erykah Badu, Cypress Hill fronts the effort to legalize and un-demonize cannabis users and supporters. Along with performances from Slightly Stoopid, Damian Marley, Nas, Basement Jaxx, Collie Buddz, Living Colour—and a host of DJs spinnin‘—there’ll also be the Expo, showcasing medical marijuana industries such as cultivation, education, legal rights, clothing, accessories, cosmetics, health benefits, arts, crafts and more. In addition, licensed physicians and reps from political organizations will be on-site to dispense their expertise and information, as well as discussion panels, celebrity guests, prominent speakers and special meet-n-greet sessions with your favorite cannabis advocates—get an autograph or take a picture with the Buddah King himself!
