[dropcap class=”kp-dropcap”]C[/dropcap]indy Capobianco and her husband Robert Rosenheck, the couple behind luxury CBD brand Lord Jones, dished out $18 million for the coveted Ennis House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

The purchase marks the highest amount paid for any Frank Lloyd Wright house to date. According to the Frank Lloyd Wright Organization, the Ennis House, located in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, is one of the architect’s “textile block” style homes—composed of over 27,000 concrete blocks. It was built in 1924 and featured in many films over the years, in everything from The Rocketeer to Blade Runner. It also features a “G” which many believe signifies a connection to the Masonic order.

Capobianco and Rosenheck amassed their fortune beginning with non-cannabis ventures such as DKNY and Banana Republic before settling on the lucrative cannabis industry. The couple opened the Hollywood Hills Wellness Association based in California, before moving into the CBD product market.

“Through our agency, we worked for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups, Capobianco told Coveteur in an interview last year. “We were regularly in and out of food facilities and learned a lot about food manufacturing. So a lot of our previous work turned out to be training for Lord Jones.”

After Rosencheck was injured in a rock climbing accident, and found success with CBD, he became a believer. Lord Jones’ gummies, formulas and tinctures are infused with CBD and are often sold to celebrities and other higher end clients. Lord Jones was also the first cannabis line to be sold in Sephora, Equinox and other high-end retailers.

Recently, Lord Jones was acquired in a $300 million deal by the publicly-traded cannabis company, the Cronos Group. That deal undoubtedly helped them get to where they are today financially. The recent home purchase solidifies the couple’s prominence within the cannabis industry as a whole.
