The California branch of NORML is calling all supporters to attend their Marijuana Reform: Next Steps (Southern California) conference this month to discuss the future of marijuana reform efforts in the Golden State. Recent efforts by the organization include their February appeal of a court decision upholding Tehama County’s ordinance to restrict patient’s rights to grow medical marijuana, and support of Sen. Mark Leno’s (D-San Francisco) re-introduction of his bill to end employment discrimination against medical marijuana users.
